A Beautiful Pairing : Curtains & Shutters

Bay windows provide us with an opportunity to play with different styles of window coverings. In this instance, the designer chose to combine custom drapes and cafe shutters- an elegant pairing. Redirect and filter light with the shutters or block out the rest of the world by drawing the curtains closed. We think a different color fabric would have been a better choice. Perhaps a material that would enhance the wing backed chair, sofa, or art piece displayed above the mantle.
